Biography

Iman Nosoohi is an Assistant Professor specializing in Operations Management at the Faculty of Business Administration, Memorial University of Newfoundland. His current research focuses on pricing, revenue management, sustainable operations, gray markets, and supply chain transparency, employing optimization and game theory techniques. Prior to joining Memorial University, he was an Assistant Professor in Management Science and Information Systems at Dalhousie University, and he also served as a lecturer in Operations Logistics at the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia. Dr. Nosoohi completed his Postdoctoral fellowship at the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University, after obtaining his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology in Iran. He has published research in various prestigious journals, including the European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Supply Chain Management Review, International Transactions in Operational Research, and Computers & Industrial Engineering. Additionally, he is a member of the Canadian Operational Research Society (CORS) and has presented his research at several conferences such as INFORMS, MSOM, and POMS Annual Conferences.
