Biography

Imran Ahmad advises clients across a wide array of technology-related matters including outsourcing, cloud computing, software as a service, strategic alliances, technology development, system procurement and implementation, technology licensing and transfer, distribution, open source software, and electronic commerce. As part of his cybersecurity practice, Imran works with clients to develop and implement strategies related to cyber threats. Imran acts as breach counsel for cybersecurity incidents and has extensive experience managing complex cross-border security incidents, providing representation during investigations, enforcement actions, and litigation. He is the author of 'Cybersecurity Canada: Guide Practices, Planning, Management, 2nd Edition' which was published by LexisNexis in March 2021.
