Biography

Imre Szeman holds a PhD in Literature from Duke University and has extensive teaching experience in Communication Arts. He has previously taught at McMaster University and worked at the University of Alberta from 2009 to 2016. Szeman specializes in energy studies, environmental studies, social and political philosophy, as well as critical theory and cultural studies. He also holds the 2020 Leverhulme Visiting Professor position in Critical Studies at the University of Glasgow, indicating his international recognition in his field.
