Biography

Ina Stelzer is a molecular biologist and systems immunologist with a PhD in Reproductive Immunology. She has extensive training from Maastricht University and has conducted her postdoctoral research at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and Stanford University. Her lab focuses on integrating expertise in preclinical mouse models of pregnancy with translational immunology in human pregnancy cohorts. Utilizing cutting-edge techniques like single-cell proteomics, the Stelzer lab aims to enhance understanding of maternal (neuro-)immune adaptations in healthy and pathological pregnancies, ultimately improving health outcomes for mothers and their children.
