Inderjit S. Dhillon serves as the Gottesman Family Centennial Professor and Director of the Center for Big Data Analytics at the University of Texas at Austin. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 1997 from the University of California, Berkeley. Dhillon’s prominent research interests encompass Machine Learning, Data Mining, Numerical Linear Algebra, and Numerical Optimization. Dhillon’s efforts in the field have earned him distinctions as an ACM Fellow, IEEE Fellow, SIAM Fellow, and AAAS Fellow, along with recognition through the SIAM Linear Algebra Prize.
