Dr. Inge Rocker

Biography

Inge Rocker is a Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology in the School of Architecture, specializing in sustainable industry innovation and transformation. She joined Dassault Systemes in 2014 as Vice President, where she developed strategies for sustainable cross-industry innovations and led projects such as the Smart City Project 3DEXPERIENCity in Singapore. Ingeborg has extensive experience as a practicing architect, having worked as lead designer for the Peter Eisenman Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin. In 2006, she co-founded Rocker-Lange Architect, a research-focused architecture firm based in Boston and Hong Kong, recognized for their emphasis on digital mediums in sustainable design. Rocker has held academic positions at prestigious institutions such as Princeton University and Harvard University, where she served in various capacities, including Director of Admissions and Coordinator for core studios. She is dedicated to research and education, having advised over 40 doctoral thesis students and founded the Industry Innovation | Circular Economy Lab (IC2E) at Georgia Tech. Her work has received international recognition and contributes to significant discourses in the fields of industry and academia.
