Biography

Ingo Zettler joined the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Copenhagen in February 2014 as part of the Copenhagen Personality and Social Psychology (CoPSY) research group. He has previously studied Psychology at Bonn University from 2001 to 2006 and worked at RWTH Aachen University and the University of Tübingen, where he led a Junior Research group. His main research interests are in the areas of Behavioral Economics, Educational Psychology, Personality Psychology, and Work and Organizational Psychology. Zettler is particularly interested in counterproductive work behavior, dishonesty, and giftedness, and he explores the interplay between personality traits and situational factors that shape behavior. Additionally, he has contributed to the Dark Factor of Personality, which seeks to understand and assess darker aspects of personality traits. He has been active in the academic community through peer reviews and editing for journals in the field, and has authored blog posts related to individual differences research.
