Biography

Professor Ingram Wright is a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist with expertise in acquired brain injury and its impact on childhood neurological disorders, as well as children's neuropsychological development. He has been employed at the University Hospitals Bristol Weston NHS Trust since 2005, where he leads the assessment and management of young patients suffering from neurological disorders, particularly those who have experienced traumatic brain injuries. He has worked in various prestigious tertiary neuroscience centers across the UK, including Great Ormond Street Hospital, Guy’s Hospital, and Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Alongside his clinical role, Professor Wright is an influential academic who has published numerous papers in scientific journals and is a regular presenter at international conferences focusing on acquired brain injury in children. He contributes to a range of teaching programs in neuropsychology at institutions such as University College London, Royal Holloway Bedford College, and universities in Bath, Cardiff, and Plymouth. In 2011, he was appointed the inaugural Chair of the Faculty of Paediatric Neuropsychology and has held significant roles within the British Psychological Society, including Chief Assessor for Neuropsychology and Chair of the Clinical Neuropsychology Qualifications Board.
