Biography

Ingrid Chadwick is an Associate Professor in the Management department and Academic Director at the Barry F. Lorenzetti Centre for Women Entrepreneurship Leadership at the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University. She holds a PhD in Organizational Behaviour from Queen's Smith School of Business and a Master's in Education focusing on Organizational Learning from Queen's University. Prior to her academic career, Chadwick worked as a Human Resources Specialist concentrating on employee organizational development in Canada and Sweden. Her research primarily investigates the determinants of learning and development for individuals and organizations, especially in challenging situations. She focuses on supporting new entrepreneurs and female leaders in organizational settings where they are underrepresented. Her research is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and the Fonds Québécois de la Recherche sur la Société et la Culture, and her work has been published in reputable peer-reviewed journals such as Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Management, and Journal of Organizational Behavior.
