Biography

Ingrid Koslowsky is the Director of the Calgary Radiopharmaceutical Centre, which is a centralized radiopharmacy centre. She studied pharmacy at the University of Toronto and practiced retail and clinical pharmacy in Ontario before moving to Alberta. Koslowsky obtained an MSc in Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Alberta in 1987, followed by a residency program in Radiopharmacy. In 2010, she received her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, specializing in PET radiochemistry. She has been responsible for providing radiopharmaceutical services in Calgary since 1989 and holds a position in the Department of Radiology at the University of Calgary. Her work enables research projects in neuroendocrine disease, and she is a co-investigator on a Phase II study evaluating liver metastasis in adults with neuroendocrine tumors using 68Ga-HA-DOTATATE PET/CT. Koslowsky has co-authored publications on the diagnosis of pyogenic spinal infection using PET/CT imaging and has presented work on the validity of retrospective sterility testing of radiopharmaceuticals, addressing challenges in the management of affordability for in-house production of licensed diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.
