Dr. Ingrid Zukerman

Biography

Ingrid Zukerman is a Professor in the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University, specializing in various areas within artificial intelligence. Her research interests include Natural Language Processing, Discourse Planning, Spoken Language Understanding, User Modeling, and Plan Recognition. She has a strong commitment to teaching, serving as the Chief Examiner for several units including Intelligent Systems and Computer Architecture Networks. Ingrid has published extensively in her field and is actively involved in multiple research projects, including enhancing GP decision-making through data-driven approaches and improving reasoning with causal Bayes networks. Ingrid's academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Master of Science in Operations Research from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Management, also from the Technion. She has received numerous accolades for her work in artificial intelligence and has led important collaborations focusing on the implementation of AI technologies in real-world applications.
