Biography

Inka Eberhardt is a Visiting Fellow at the University of New South Wales Business School, specifically within the School of Risk and Actuarial Studies. Her research focuses on financial decision-making through field experiments and lab-in-the-field experiments, as well as survey research. Currently, she analyzes the impact of product disclosure forms related to retirement income product choices alongside colleagues such as Hazel Bateman, Jacki Ellis, and Shang Wu. Eberhardt's research has also explored how to prevent superannuation fund members from switching investments to cash during high-volatility market conditions, which could lead to missed market rebounds. Notably, she is involved in a five-year project with a Dutch pension fund that targets effective pension communication to improve retirement savings behavior. Eberhardt collaborates with researchers like Martijn van den Assem and Dennie van Dolder to explore financial giving behavior in game show formats.
