Biography

Professor Ioannis Kontoyiannis works in information theory, applied probability, statistics, and their applications in neuroscience and bioinformatics. His notable awards include a Sloan Foundation Research Fellowship and being named Fellow of the IEEE and AAIA. He remains an influential figure in the field of statistics and machine learning.
