Dr. Irina Livitz

Biography

Irina Livitz is a licensed clinical health psychologist with expertise as a clinician, training director, supervisor, and researcher. She has worked in a variety of settings, including colleges, medical centers, and primary care facilities. Her areas of clinical specialty include the management of mood and anxiety disorders, women's health, and chronic pain illnesses. Dr. Livitz has a strong commitment to training the next generation of psychologists and currently serves as the director of training at the Cambridge Health Alliance, where she coordinates and administers the practicum program for primary care. As a primary supervisor for practicum trainees, her work as a researcher focuses on understanding the motivations for change and the ways to support women's health across their lifespan. Current research projects include examining trauma among healthcare workers and exploring methods to expand screening services within women's healthcare settings.
