Dr. Irina Lock

Biography

Irina Lock is a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Marketing and Communication Management at the Università della Svizzera italiana. She obtained her PhD from the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the same university in September 2015, with a thesis titled "Credibility CSR Communication. Concepts, Methods, Analyses," which won the PhD prize for the 2014/15 academic year. Her research interests focus on corporate communication, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and public affairs. Irina completed her Master's studies in corporate communication with a minor in CSR in 2011 at the Università della Svizzera italiana. Prior to her doctoral studies, she earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Passau, Germany, where she pursued international cultural business studies. Among her professional experiences, she has worked in a public relations department and in project management within the tourism sector.
