Biography

Dr. Irina Sobol specializes in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. Born in Kiev, Ukraine, she immigrated to the United States during high school. She earned her undergraduate degree from New York University and obtained her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2002. Dr. Sobol has received recognition for her contributions to medicine, including the Phi Beta Kappa and the Horace W. Stunkard Prize for Outstanding Career Potential. She holds board certifications in internal medicine, advanced heart failure transplant cardiology, and cardiovascular disease.
