Biography

Irit Maianski, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Dalhousie University. With a robust background in pediatric radiology, she completed her Pediatric Education Fellowship at Montreal’s Children Hospital, McGill University Health Center. Dr. Maianski trained in diagnostic radiology at Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, Israel, and holds a postgraduate degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel-Aviv University. Her clinical interests include pediatric MRI, with particular enthusiasm in Fetal, Neuro, and Musculoskeletal MRI. Additionally, she serves as a staff radiologist at the IWK Health Centre, where she is dedicated to educating medical students and residents in the field of radiology. Dr. Maianski is an active member of the Society for Pediatric Radiology and the European Society for Pediatric Radiology. She is committed to advancing the education and training of future pediatric radiologists.
