Biography

Irtisha Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics at Texas A&M University Health Science Center. In her PhD research, she investigated the landscape of intronic polyadenylation isoforms across various normal tissue types, B-cell malignancies, multiple myeloma, and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Her findings revealed the inactivation of tumor suppressor genes linked to changes in mRNA processing. Dr. Singh's research is published in journals such as Nature, Nature Biotechnology, Cancer Cell, and PNAS.
