Biography

Isabel holds a doctoral degree in Organisation Theory from the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School, and was a visiting doctoral researcher at Yale School of Management. Her doctoral research focused on advancing institutional perspectives of social change involving marginal actors, sponsored by the Economic and Social Research Council. Isabel's research includes social venture legitimation in authoritarian regimes, for which she was awarded the International Paper Award in 2019 by the Academy of Management (OMT division), with her work published in the Academy of Management Journal. She has also worked with the United Nations Secretariat and was a member of the UN Innovation Network.
