Dr. Isil Yildiz

Biography

Isil Yildiz is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Yale School of Medicine. She has extensive training in public health, having completed her MPH at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health and her MD at Gazi University School of Medicine. Dr. Yildiz has significant experience in the field of pathology and has been involved in various research initiatives focusing on public health and healthcare sustainability. One of her notable activities includes presenting on healthcare sustainability in Turkey, particularly around workplace satisfaction and environmental impact within pathology operations. Furthermore, she has contributed to various academic congresses, sharing her findings on the importance of awareness regarding sustainability in pathology laboratories. Her work emphasizes the intersection of quality care, efficiency, and chronic disease management. She is affiliated with the Yale Institute for Global Health and has served on the CAP Cytopathology Resource Committee from 2012 to 2014, demonstrating her commitment to both academic and community health initiatives.
