Ivan Litvinov is an Associate Professor in the Division of Dermatology at McGill University and the Department of Pathology. He earned his Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and an MDCM from McGill University, completing his residency in Dermatology at McGill University Health Centre. His research primarily focuses on cutaneous lymphomas, keratinocyte carcinomas, and melanoma, with support from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). He directs a translational research laboratory within the Cancer Research Program at the MUHC and leads a clinic for skin cancer diagnosis and treatment for solid organ transplant recipients. He has received the Early Career Award from CIHR and the President's Cup Award for his contributions to dermatology research. His research includes studies on gene-environment interactions affecting skin cancer development and the molecular pathogenesis of skin cancers.
