Dr. Iwona Bielska

Biography

Iwona Bielska is an accomplished epidemiologist and health services researcher, with extensive experience in academic and government settings. She currently holds the position of Assistant Professor (Part-Time) in the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact at McMaster University and is also affiliated with the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Jagiellonian University. Iwona has earned her PhD in Epidemiology and holds both MSc and BScH degrees in Life Sciences from Queen's University. Her research focuses on health research methodologies and their impact on public health. Additionally, she has completed postgraduate training through a Postdoctoral Fellowship at McMaster University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Iwona actively contributes to academia through her scholarly works and has a presence on various professional platforms where she shares her research findings.
