Iyiola Solanke is the Jacques Delors Professor of European Union Law at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Somerville College. He is the author of notable works including 'EU Law' (CUP 2022), 'Making Anti-Racial Discrimination Law' (Routledge 2011), and 'Discrimination Stigma - Theory Anti-Discrimination Law' (Hart 2017). Beyond academia, he founded the Black Female Professors Forum to increase the visibility of women professors of color and has participated in initiatives promoting engagement between legal professionals and students in Yorkshire. He is currently leading several research projects, including those focusing on the impact of COVID-19 on well-being and resilience in Black, Asian, and minority ethnic communities as well as initiatives aiming to enhance access and success in postgraduate studies for BAME women.
