Dr. J Y F Wynstra

Biography

Finn Wynstra is a Professor of Purchasing Supply Management at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, in the Netherlands. His research primarily focuses on purchasing supply management, particularly the interplay of supply and innovation processes and buyer-supplier relations within business service contexts. Wynstra has published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Operations Management and International Journal of Research in Marketing, and has co-authored several influential textbooks on buying business services and developing sourcing capabilities. He teaches a variety of courses at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels, as well as executive programs in the Netherlands and abroad. Furthermore, Wynstra serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Operations Management and is a member of several editorial boards. He has received numerous awards for his contributions to the field, including the Hans Ovelgönne Award from the International Federation of Purchasing Supply Management. Wynstra holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from Eindhoven University of Technology and has held faculty positions at several institutions, including Jönköping International Business School in Sweden. Throughout his career, he has been involved in various administrative roles at Erasmus University, reinforcing his commitment to academic integrity and educational excellence.
