Biography

Jabril Bensedrine is an Industry Associate Professor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, bringing over 25 years of international professional experience in consulting, advising, entrepreneurship, and academia. His work intersects innovation, new product development, strategic planning, marketing strategy, corporate entrepreneurship, and international business development. Bensedrine founded The Triana Group, a technology business development firm, and has supported numerous companies at various stages, from pre-seed startups to those with $20 billion in revenue. He has been involved in sectors including hardware, IoT, healthcare technologies, and software, emphasizing Industry 4.0 and lean manufacturing principles. He earned his Ph.D. in Strategic Management from ESSEC and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley. A recipient of several awards and scholarships, Bensedrine's research has been shared at various international conferences and published by notable publishers. He teaches courses on innovation and entrepreneurship and is actively engaged in the academic community.
