Biography

Jacob Østergaard is an internationally recognized research leader in the field of renewable-based energy systems. He is committed to making substantial contributions to the green transition, leading the development of technology for future sustainable energy systems. He has served on various academic boards and committees, including a recent term as a member of the Danish Energy Commission and a current position on the board of Energinet, the Danish Transmission System Operator. His work aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
