Professor Dr. Jacqueline Corbett

Biography

Jacqueline Corbett is a Full Professor in the Department of Management Information Systems at Université Laval, specializing in management information systems, sustainability management, and Indigenous knowledge. She earned her Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Queen's University and holds an MBA in Finance from York University. Prof. Corbett's interests focus on the intersection of technology and sustainability, particularly how digital innovations can support the resilience of Indigenous communities and enhance their economic development. She has actively contributed to numerous research projects, including the application of information technology to strengthen land-based relationships among Indigenous peoples. In addition to her teaching and research, she has held significant roles in several academic committees and has been involved in conference organization and editorial responsibilities in top-tier journals. Her dedication to education and social responsibility is reflected in her extensive leadership activities, making her a prominent figure in the field of information systems and sustainability.
