Dr. Jacqueline Kraushaar obtained her undergraduate training, majoring in Biology, at the University of Regina. She earned her Medical Doctorate (MD) degree in 2007 from the University of Saskatchewan and was recognized with the PM&R Award. Dr. Kraushaar completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Saskatchewan in June 2012. Since then, she has been practicing at the Regina Wascana Rehabilitation Centre. Dr. Kraushaar's interests include medical education, where she teaches medical students and residents. She became the Area Department Lead for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Regina in 2016 and serves as an Associate Member in the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology at the University of Saskatchewan. Additionally, she is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Specialty Committee in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Kraushaar coordinates the Clerkship Leadership Elective and represents faculty wellness in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Training Program. She is currently enrolled in the Clinician Educator AFC Program at the University of Saskatchewan. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, home design, and actively participates in her family business. Her clinical interests include Prosthetics and Orthotics, Stroke Rehabilitation, Pediatric Rehabilitation, Neuromuscular Medicine and EMG, Medical Education, MSK/General Rehabilitation, Spasticity Management, and Sexuality and Disability.
