Dr. Jacques Renaud

Biography

Jacques Renaud is a Full Professor at Laval University in the Faculty of Business Administration (FSA). He serves as the Director of the Center for Innovation in Logistics and Sustainable Supply Chain Management. His research expertise encompasses transport planning, operations, supply chain management, inventory distribution logistics, and various critical aspects of packaging and transport. Involved in several funded research activities, Professor Renaud leads projects focused on freight distribution analysis and urban mobility optimization. His academic contributions are supported by his educational background, including a Doctorate in Business Administration, a Master’s, and a Bachelor’s from Laval University. He actively participates in multiple academic committees and holds editorial responsibilities in several research journals, contributing significantly to the field of operational research. Throughout his career, he has mentored many students at Master’s and Doctorate levels, fostering new talents in logistics and supply chain dynamics.
