Biography

Jaikirshan Khatri, M.D. is an Interventional Cardiologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of patients with coronary artery disease, with a specific focus on the management of patients with complex high-risk coronary anatomy and chronic total occlusions. He serves as the Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Khatri earned his Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences, summa cum laude, from the University of Akron, Ohio, and his medical degree from the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He completed his residency and a postdoctoral research fellowship in cardiology at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, followed by fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Previously, he was the Director of Complex Coronary Intervention at the Cleveland Clinic and has contributed significantly to the field through numerous publications and presentations at local, national, and international conferences. Dr. Khatri has trained many interventional cardiologists in leading complex coronary intervention programs.
