Biography

Jaime Cavallo graduated with honors from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in General Surgery and a post-doctorate research fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Following this, he underwent Urology residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York and further fellowship training in Male Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery at Lahey Hospital Medical Center in Massachusetts. In 2019, Dr. Cavallo joined the faculty at Yale School of Medicine and currently holds a joint appointment at Yale New Haven Hospital and the West Haven Veterans' Affairs Medical Center. As Director of Male Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery, he is dedicated to offering innovative treatments that significantly improve his patients' quality of life. His research primarily focuses on comparing the effectiveness of current and new therapies, with an aim to provide patients with the highest standard of care.
