Biography

Jaime Peraire is the H.N. Slater Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a focus on numerical simulation and computational mechanics, particularly in aerodynamics and finite elements. His academic interests extend to teaching aerodynamics, computational mechanics, and numerical methods, contributing significantly to the field through research and development in space weather modeling.
