Jaime Schultz is a professor in the Kinesiology Graduate Program at Penn State College of Health and Human Development. Her research emphasizes a critical historical study of sport and physical activity, exploring themes of sex, gender, sexuality, and the cultural historical aspects of kinesiology. She holds a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies of Sport from the University of Iowa, as well as a Master's degree in Psychology of Sport and a Bachelor's degree in English and Spanish. In addition to her role at Penn State, she has a courtesy appointment in Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality Studies. Schultz also co-edits the University of Illinois Press's Sport Society series and is involved in the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport.
