James Bushnell is a Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of California, Davis, and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1993, and also holds an M.S. in Operations Research from Berkeley and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Professor Bushnell has published several significant works on electricity pricing, agricultural prices, electric vehicle energy use, and policy choice in emission market design.
