I am a PhD student originally from California with an undergraduate degree from Amherst College and a master's degree in entomology from UMCE in Chile. My research is focused on the systematics of the subfamily Aleocharinae (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae), utilizing molecular DNA techniques. Currently, my projects include developing a comprehensive tribal phylogeny of Aleocharinae and testing museomic DNA extraction methods for this group. Looking ahead, I plan to conduct large-scale DNA barcoding and integrative taxonomy research on Gondwanan Aleocharines, with an emphasis on southern Chile, while quantitatively testing cutting-edge barcoding techniques and hotSHOT extraction methods.
Focuses on clinical, social, and cognitive psychology.
