Biography

James Denison-Day is a Senior Research Fellow and Lecturer at the School of Psychology, University of Southampton. He is particularly interested in the use of digital technologies for the delivery of psychological research and digital health interventions. James is heavily involved in the Digital Intervention Group at the university, which is part of the LifeGuide+ project, aimed at developing software tools that enable intervention designers to create interactive web-based health interventions. His research focuses on a wide range of topic areas including cognitive health in older adults, physical activity, nutrition, acne and eczema care, and improving infection control behaviours. James is also passionate about developing digital behaviour change interventions and has been involved in various research projects funded by the National Institute for Health Research.
