Biography

Professor James Head is the Louis Elizabeth Scherck Distinguished Professor Emeritus in Geological Sciences and a Professor in Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences at Brown University. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Washington and Lee University in 1964 and completed his Ph.D. at Brown University in 1969.
