James R. Klinger is a Professor of Medicine and the Medical Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Center at Rhode Island Hospital. He serves as the chair of the program committee for the Pulmonary Circulation Assembly of the American Thoracic Society and is the co-chair of the American College of Chest Physicians Guidelines Committee for the Treatment of Pulmonary Hypertension. Dr. Klinger has edited two textbooks on Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension and is involved in several steering committees for clinical trials and educational programs. He is also a member of the Scientific Liaison Committee of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association and the Pathobiology Task Force for the 2018 World Symposium on Pulmonary Hypertension. Dr. Klinger is on the faculty of the American Thoracic Society and serves as an Associate Editor for the journal "Lung."
