Biography

James Lynn is the Executive Director of High School Development at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he has worked to enhance educational opportunities for high school students. Previously, he directed mathematics curriculum development for the Office of High School Development, focusing on improving math education across various settings. Lynn has also held positions as project manager at New Leaders for New Schools and oversaw high school mathematics initiatives within the Chicago Public Schools' Office of Mathematics and Science. He has extensive teaching experience, having served as Mathematics Department Chair and instructor at Northside College Preparatory High School and Foreman High School in Chicago. Lynn holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Northeastern Illinois University and a Master of Education in Secondary Education from DePaul University.
