Biography

James Milner is a prominent researcher and practitioner specializing in refugee studies, global governance, and humanitarian action. He serves as Project Director for the Local Engagement Refugee Research Network (LERRN), a significant SSHRC-funded partnership aimed at enhancing collaboration between researchers and civil society actors in Canada and several other countries including Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, and Tanzania. His publications further study the dynamics of global refugee policy and the strategies for meaningful refugee participation in the decision-making processes.
