Jamey Weichert is a Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He holds affiliate positions in Medical Physics and Pharmaceutics. In 2003, he founded Cellectar, LLC in Madison to develop therapeutic oncology agents, leaving in 2016 to co-found Archeus Technologies, which is focused on developing alkylphosphocholine chelates for MRI imaging and targeted radionuclide therapy. His research interests encompass the design and development of cancer-targeted molecular contrast and therapeutic agents for a wide range of diagnostic applications in cancer imaging and radiotherapy. Dr. Weichert is an author of more than 80 peer-reviewed publications and has co-invented over 50 issued and pending patents. He has also been a co-investigator and principal investigator on NIH-NCI corporate grants totaling over $20 million.
