Biography

Jamie Kneebusch is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Prior to joining the faculty in January 2022, she completed PGY1 Acute Care and PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residencies at the VA San Diego Healthcare System. With over two years of experience as an inpatient psychiatric pharmacist, Jamie has focused her practice on population health within a behavioral health context for an Arizona-based Medicaid and Medicare insurance provider. Her research aims to optimize and expand care for patients with psychiatric disorders by assessing available therapies and evaluating pharmacy practice models for patients with comorbid psychiatric diagnoses and substance use disorders. Additionally, Jamie has a keen interest in promoting student and professional wellness, as well as advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the field.
