Biography

Jamie O'Connell is a lecturer at Stanford Law School, where he teaches and writes on political and legal development, specializing in law and development, transitional justice, democratization, and post-conflict reconstruction with a focus on business and human rights. He clerked for the Honorable James R. Browning on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and has been admitted to practice in California (inactive status) and New York. O'Connell was a Fulbright Senior Scholar and visiting professor at the University of Valencia in Spain. His scholarly works encompass various publications on human rights and international law.
