Biography

Jamie Yang, MD, PhD, is a Clinical Instructor and Research Fellow in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Michigan Medical School. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Washington University in St. Louis, followed by a T32 Research Fellowship focusing on Liver Transplant, Vascular, and High-Risk Adult Anesthesia at the University of Michigan. Dr. Yang obtained his MD and PhD from Columbia University in 2024, and earlier earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011. His research interests are concentrated on Genomics, Bioinformatics, Clinical Outcomes Research, Systems Biology, and Medical Education, and he has authored numerous publications in these areas.
