Biography

Jan Huissoon is a Professor in the Mechanical Mechatronics Engineering Department at the University of Waterloo. He served as Chair of the department from 2013 to 2020 and founded Canada's Mechatronics Engineering program. His research interests are in mechatronic design, sensor-based robotic microfluidic control, robotic welding, and autonomous vehicle control.
