Biography

Jan H. Kamphuis is a full professor at the University of Amsterdam's Psychology Research Institute, specializing in psychological assessment of personality. He holds a graduate degree in clinical psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and has developed significant expertise as a licensed clinical psychologist. Kamphuis completed his internship at the Duke University Medical Center and has served as a cognitive therapist and senior researcher at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam. He is an active member of the Society for Personality Assessment and certified in Therapeutic Assessment, contributing his expertise to undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate training programs.
