Biography

Jan Schellekens is an Assistant Professor in the Electromechanics and Power Electronics group at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). In his part-time position, Schellekens focuses on lecturing motor drive systems and supervising graduate and PhD students. His contributions include the design of a liquid-cooled zero-voltage switching servo amplifier for a planar positioning system achieving nanometer accuracy alongside his colleagues at ASML, as well as authoring or co-authoring 13 conference papers and 3 peer-reviewed scholarly articles. Schellekens received his degree in Electrical Engineering from Fontys University of Applied Sciences in 2002 and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2007 before earning his PhD in 2014, after which he assumed his current role at TU/e.
