Biography

Jan Simon is a Senior Lecturer at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. He has also held significant positions in investment banking, serving as Executive Director at Goldman Sachs, where he headed the pan-European continental sales trading desk. Jan is known for his involvement as an Academic Director for MBA programs, and he participates actively in the Directors Education Program in Canada, focusing on Shareholder Engagement. In addition to his academic duties, Jan served in NATO's Special Intervention Forces as part of the Para-Commando battalion.
