Biography

Jan Vetter is a Professor Emeritus at UC Berkeley Law. After graduating from law school, he worked at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher in Los Angeles. In 1967, he joined the Berkeley Law faculty and served as the associate dean from 2000 to 2003. He is a specialist in civil litigation and has also been a visiting professor at Harvard University. In recognition of his outstanding teaching, he received the Rutter Award for Teaching Distinction in 1995.
