Biography

Jane Catford is a plant community ecologist with extensive research interests in community assembly, biological invasions, environmental change, and biodiversity. She has worked on various terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems around the world employing theoretical, quantitative, and empirical approaches. Catford has established and maintains long-term field experiments in the UK and Australia, collaborating widely with other researchers.
